COVID-19 Response

The Why

The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic intensified hardships, as widespread lockdowns and movement restrictions cut off daily income for millions of families. For many households, especially those relying on informal labor or small-scale trading, staying home meant going without food, medicine, or basic hygiene.

At the M. Kukoyi Foundation (MKF), we understand that health interventions must go hand-in-hand with social support, especially during a global crisis. When basic needs are unmet, public health efforts falter.

What We do

In collaboration with trusted community partners such as Mercy Michael Foundation, COVID AID Volunteer Distribution Network, Citizen for Citizen Nigeria, RCCG Jesus House, and RCCG Triumphant Parish, we organized and implemented a targeted COVID-relief campaign.

With the $2,670 generously donated by our supporters, we were able to provide 384 families with essential supplies. These included food staples, facemasks, hand sanitizers, soap, and critical health education materials to help families protect themselves and others. By working directly with local partners already embedded in these communities, we ensured that aid was delivered with speed, cultural sensitivity, and maximum impact.

Through extensive research and collaboration with local communities, we take meaningful, data-driven approaches. By continuously collecting, analyzing, and applying real-time data, we are able to identify high-impact interventions, allocate resources effectively, and tailor our strategies to the specific needs of different populations. This evidence-based methodology ensures that our programs remain adaptive, targeted, and outcome-focused.
