5K Walk/Run for Impact

Mark your calendar and get ready to move for a cause.

On May 16, 2026, we invite you to join us at Sugar Land Memorial Park (Lakeside Pavilion) for a meaningful morning of movement, community, and impact. Set against a beautiful outdoor backdrop, The M. Kukoyi Foundation 5K Walk/Run for Impact is more than just a fitness event. it’s a movement to educate our youth as well as expand access to life-saving care.

If you can’t be there in person, you can participate wherever you are, just tag us in your runs and send your time. You can also donate to the cause by selecting “I’d just like to donate” on the bottom left of the ticket pop-up or via our website.
Across underserved communities, many lives are lost not because help isn’t possible, but because help doesn’t come fast enough. Through our programs, we are working to change that. Your participation in this 5K directly supports:

In Houston:
50% of the proceeds will go towards providing resources to a HISD school
In West Africa, the remaining 50% will go towards our international initiatives such as :

  • CPR and First Aid training through our
  • C.A.R.E Project
  • Emergency trauma support for patients in critical need
  • Community health outreach and education
  • Access to essential resources for underserved populations

The day will begin with registration at 8:45AM (CST), giving you time to check in, connect with other participants, and soak in the atmosphere. At 9:00 AM (CST), we set off — walking, running, and moving with purpose.
