For many public schools in under-resourced communities across Nigeria, the lack of basic amenities—like restrooms, safe drinking water, and school supplies—creates daily challenges that compromise health, attendance, and the overall learning experience. Children in these schools often face unsafe toileting conditions, inadequate hygiene, or long treks to fetch water. Others come to school without bags, notebooks, or essential learning tools—facing ridicule, discomfort, and low morale. These seemingly “basic” needs are in fact deeply tied to students’ confidence, academic performance, and future prospects. We intervene because a well-supported school environment is foundational to educational equity and child development.
We provide essential infrastructure and educational support in public schools. Our interventions include building restroom facilities, installing manual boreholes for clean water access, and distributing school supplies such as backpacks and notebooks. These projects address critical gaps in sanitation, hygiene, and basic learning tools, ensuring students can learn in safe, dignified, and well-equipped environments. Through partnerships with local organizations and communities, we promote educational equity, improve health outcomes, and empower children to thrive.
Through extensive research and collaboration with local communities, we take meaningful, data-driven approaches. By continuously collecting, analyzing, and applying real-time data, we are able to identify high-impact interventions, allocate resources effectively, and tailor our strategies to the specific needs of different populations. This evidence-based methodology ensures that our programs remain adaptive, targeted, and outcome-focused
The only toileting facility at the L.E.A. Primary school for many years was an unfinished and abandoned structure where students and staff would use in the open. Through collaboration with the Mercy Michael Foundation, we constructed a brand new restroom facility for the school. Along with the new restroom, we also provided notebooks and backpacks to the students to support their learning.






For the first time, pupils and staff of Ado Kassa L.G.E.A. Primary School now have access to a functional toilet facility—a major relief after years without one. Previously, students defecated openly, and staff often left school to find nearby bushes, with some missing school due to related health issues like dysentery. An earlier attempt by the PTA resulted in an abandoned, unusable structure. On October 17, 2024, a three-unit restroom block was officially commissioned, marking a joyful milestone celebrated by parents, staff, and community members alike.

The project delivered 30 new desks to support pupils in Primary 1, 5, and 6, addressing classroom overcrowding and creating a more conducive learning environment.
This intervention benefited 90 students, ensuring safer, more comfortable seating and improving overall classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
