COVID-19 Pandemic Response
Location: Lagos, Nigeria. 2020
Most recent estimates suggest that roughly half of the Nigerian population live on about $3 per day. The financial implications of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown thus affected a significant proportion of the population. MKF collaborated with local organizations (listed below) who were actively involved in relief efforts to provide food supplies, facemasks, sanitizers, soap, as well as general health education, in Lagos and Nasarawa States. Through the generous contributions of our partners, we raised $2670 towards this cause and supported 384 families. Enjoy the video summary and slideshow.
